AI Content Policy
Last updated: 6 September 2026
I put my money where my mouth is. I approach AI the same way I do for my clients: it's a tool that can do good and help scale things for the better, but accountability for its usage is non-negotiable. This page lays out how AI is and isn't used across my own communications and marketing.
(For how AI is governed in client engagements and deliverables, please refer to our AI Client Policy.)
Written Content
- Every inch of public-facing AI-generated content is reviewed by a human.
- AI is used to help form skeletons for copy and workshop content, but each thought must be original and human-derived, and the copy itself must be (re)written by a human.
Correspondence
- All emails and personal correspondence signed off as Gabe are entirely human-written.
- This extends to social media replies, DMs, and responses to third-party reviews (Google, Clutch, etc.). AI tools may be used to triage or help draft resolutions, but all responses are substantially human-written.
Images
- No generative images of humans or entities in a realistic format are used.
- Any AI usage on realistic images must be equivalent to a Photoshop touch-up: not significantly additive, and must represent the subject faithfully.
Voice, Audio & Video
- AI voiceovers are used in some cases but are not the first choice.
- AI-generated video may be used akin to stock footage or FX, but should never realistically represent a real person or event.
- AI may automate audio/video editing, but every output must be reviewed end-to-end by a human.
Social Media
- Social media content is substantially created by me. AI may be used for research and planning, but all posts are written by me.
- No AI-generated imagery is used in social content - including minor AI edits - regardless of the touch-up allowance elsewhere in this policy. This is a stricter standard, aimed squarely at the flood of fully AI-generated media increasingly common on platforms like LinkedIn.
Testimonials & Case Studies
- Testimonials and quotes are never generated. They are always handled and subedited by a human.
SEO & Programmatic Content
- A higher standard applies here than in our client-facing policy: no fully automated content. All content is reviewed to these guidelines regardless of scale.
- Where content is part of a programmatic effort, a visible note discloses AI's role.
- Any highlights or summaries have their AI usage clearly disclosed.
Sales Process
- All proposals and statements of work (SOWs) are entirely human-written.
- Other documents, such as pricing sheets, may be automated, but every page is human-reviewed.
Data Handling
- No PII is allowed through any cloud models.
- Any PII handled with local models is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- No models are permitted to retain data. All logs are scrubbed expeditiously.
Auditing
AI tool input and output are audited on a frequent basis, with particular attention to:
- Hallucinations
- Fact distortion
- PII mishandling, even where guardrails are in place
